boxes and boxes of kleenex and checking boxes

poor sick Hannah
We have 3 boxes left in the house! Yay, almost done...then there is the garage but it's important to celebrate every victory, no matter how small :)

Hannah has been home sick for a couple of days.  This morning she wasn't so much sick as she was refusing to get out of the bed.  We agreed to one more day off...for the rest of her life, and today was it.  She wants to online school, or home school, or move in with Holly. I appreciate how tough this is.  Really I do.  But you have to move forward.  People move, it often stinks. But then you go to Target (always feels like home) and if you are lucky you are greeted by a life size wookie.  How bad is that? I hope we don't move again until all the kids are out of high school.  It really is tough.  Or move next week, I would do that.

I got fingerprinted today.  I got a job as a substitute teacher.  In CA this is strangely more complicated than in other states.  For one thing you have to have a credential.  And you get benefits. Anyway, the pay is also better and so back to the classroom I go.

Also we have been invaded but ants.  Borg ants actually, resistance is futile.  We can not get rid of them and they are everywhere.  At least they are not fire ants.  Tomorrow we have a professional coming in.  The ghost busters of pest control.
