Last day:(

We went out to breakfast and then to Disney Springs to walk around.

Emma’s flight left first so she and Tori left from DS to the airport. It was fun fun fun to have her visit! It’s rare to have a lifelong friend and she and Jenna are that. She has lots of memories with our family and we had fun laughing about lots of stuff. We sure love that girl!

Tired girls:)

Tori drove the Johnsons to the airport too so that Rob and I could go to Grace’s last middle school band concert. It’s always hard to say goodbye to them...fortunately we will see them in just about 3 week so that made it a little easier!  After that trip we have nothing scheduled so the goodbyes will be awful.

The concert was great! The music was fun and the kids performed well.

Tori leaves in the morning. This week went by way to fast!

Sunday

Such a nice day! We all went to church. Rob and Clayton had a good discussion with the men in Priesthood meeting.

Then we came home and had a very nice third hour led by Bub. Tori is very learned and I alway enjoy hearing her thoughts and insights. Also it’s super fun to have a larger group sharing their thoughts together.

We played games and watched games and ate a nice dinner.

After dinner I had a long camp meeting, however it was time well spent. Full of good information and now that our cute camp leader has moved to Utah :( it’s me going to camp with the girls, so I really needed to get up to speed!

Late, late, late, at night most of the group went to see Avengers  Endgame. I think they got home at 2:30am. They loved it but were very tired today, particularly Jenna since the girls had a cranky night.

Prom

Beach day

We had so much fun at the beach today! It was perfect.
The girls did awesome. Ruby was very sad when her mom
went out in the waves to play and her dad was off playing tennis with Ethan. I walked and walked with her and tried to show her fun stuff but she mostly was sad. We did get to talk to lots of other beach goers as they tried to cheer her up!
Cora and Tori has much better luck and made friends with a nearby family that little C wanted to share toys with!

Jess and Makayla joined us for a little while, which was fun!

Beach tent is the best thing ever!

These cute girls went blueberry picking with their daddy!

And ate lots of snacks!

And tonight Ethan and Clayton went to the church to play basketball. And Rob and Grace went fishing. So everyone had a good day!

It was a magical day, full of magical fun and a lot of butterbeer!

Spring Concert

Tonight we all went to the spring concert. It was really good. The kids sang great and I liked the songs and watching them perform!

Grace and Sage; cute friends!

Grace and Madison! We are so glad the Vergara’s moved here!

Enjoying some Brusters after the concert!

Random cute picture.

So many days have slipped by! Emma and Tori came to visit on Tuesday.  Tuesday evening we were able to go to Epcot, which I love. Tori wanted to see a manatee and two live there:) and then we did the “pub crawl” of foods around the world. It was fun.
Yesterday and today they went to universal. Jenna and I will join them tomorrow! Can’t wait.
Since they were going to be gone I went ahead and worked. I subbed choir both days, which was actually really fun and easy!
Last night we had mutual. It was a general conference show down between the YW and the YM. I thought we’d clean house but we ended up in a tie.
Tennis season is over. It was really fun and I’m sad it’s done.

Robs been traveling. He got home late last night.

One bummer is I am sick:(
I had a headache on Monday and Tuesday, which is pretty unusual for me and then starting yesterday I got a sore throat and cough! My voice is almost gone :(...and the worst part is the girls come tonight and I do not want to get them sick!!  My plan is to be better in 9 hrs...🤞

Easter

The celebration of Easter is special. There are sort of secular traditions that are fun. Painting eggs, eating ham, cute bunnies and new dresses.

There are hymns to be sung, and sermons to be preached, and a Sunday dinner to be enjoyed with family & friends.

We invited  the Lyon family  and Becca and Spencer to join us. It was nice. Shannon made twice baked potatoes and rolls. I made ham and salad, jello fluff and glazed carrots, and pink lemonade. Grace and I made 3 desserts; lemon meringue pie, strawberry pie and a chocolate bunny and carrot patch cake.

Everyone had plenty to eat and after we played codename, classic and Disney.
It is also a special and sacred time of the year to reflect even more on the life and death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. I enjoyed this week reading about Him, listening to devotionals and to conference talks and other talks where that was the topic. I love my Savior and am so grateful and so glad that he paid the ultimate price on my behalf, and on the behalf of each of us. That his grace saves us, that he loves us.

I am grateful for families that can be together forever.

These two little girls had a nice day too, they were just tired:) Tired, grumpy and adorable!

Recreation

Yesterday was an off Friday for Rob. He wanted to go fishing but it was windy and rainy so it was a no go. Fortunately today was sunny and pretty and not too hot (bonus) so he and Grace did get to go.

This morning he and Ethan went and helped someone move in. He also had to go to work for a few hours.
Grace and I went to Walmart. We are looking forward to company this next week. Tori and Emma come on Tuesday!! and then Cora and Ruby and Clayna come on Thursday!! Can’t wait for all 6 of them! (And a little extra looking forward to those little girls coming❤️)

So we stocked up. Babies have so many convenience items now. It’s always fun to walk thru the baby aisles.

Ethan played soccer. There is a big baptist church next to our neighborhood, they have a private school there and huge fields. Every week a bunch of guys get together and play soccer. Ethan had to learn how to say “can I play” in Spanish before he could join (just kidding ...sort of) . He had fun. Ziva and I went for a walk and passed by the fields to watch for a bit. He didn’t notice, all he sees is the ⚽️! There was a lot of happy yelling and happy players. I asked him after if the yelling was in Spanish or Portuguese because although they do sound a little different it was too hard to tell from the field. He said it was a mix. I suspect he’ll be a regular.

51

That’s a good year! Today is my birthday. I’m old enough that I don’t celebrate but it was really fun to read Birthday messages and texts and to get phone calls all day. It’s kind of like attending your own funeral, except you are alive to hear people say nice things about you:)

This evening we did “celebrate” at Disney Springs, which is always awesome!
The Polite Pig seriously has the best brussel sprouts on the planet! So good!!
We walked around and looked at Disney stuff, ate dole whips for dessert and I saw “Breakthrough”, which I loved and cried my way thru.
