Quiet

Everyone is gone and it seems quiet. That being said of course Rob and I are here, and the Crawley’s and Ethan and Grace. But it’s a quieter, smaller group. 

Yesterday I went out to lunch with some friends, Kayleen, Michelle, Laurie and Suzanne. We had fun. I had the French onion soup which was warm and yummy. We’ve been in the middle of a cold front so it was soup weather. 

Then I went to the store and did not buy this guy. Even though I wanted too. He cost $149. I love the little Russian girl carved into his belly. 
Today I am subbing at the high school and tonight is ward temple night. 

Our house is now clean and the laundry is done. I guess it’s time to start Christmas shopping. The last two weeks were so fun. I love having all the family near. Of course there were little squabbles here and there but mostly everyone gets along, which is so nice. And the issues that do come up are usually quickly resolved and put into the past. 

One thing I love about my family, both immediate and extended and family of origin is that, for the most part, everyone wants to get along, everyone wants to find joy and peace, everyone is willing to forgive and make the best of each day. That’s the best you can hope for. 

Last day

In the morning we will take the Brandt’s to the airport:( The trip went so quickly and was so fun!

This morning we made hot chocolate and German pancakes for breakfast then we all cleaned. Tatum and Penny and Marshall are awesome little helpers and we got things in order fairly quickly.

Meanwhile the girls sent me a text in their new outfits! Too cute!!! Cora and Ruby:)

In the afternoon Dani and Greg went on a date and the kids and I put up the Christmas tree. Cat spent his time un-decorating it so I decided to only put up one tree this year. Hopefully next year when he’s not a kitten he’ll be better and we can put up the owl tree and the Disney tree too.

In the evening we hung out, ate cheez-it chicken for dinner, did crafts and read lots of stories. 

It was a lovely day!

Animal Kingdom

Sierra went home this morning. It was a great visit. I always love to spend time with Sierra.

Today we went to Animal Kingdom. 

We watched several shows, lion king was best!

We rode lots of rides, played in the Dino dig for a long time. 

It was great!

Magic Kingdom

We went to MK on Monday and it was magical! We had soo soo much fun! Becca and Spencer came with us for the morning, which means we got everyone in for free:)

The weather was perfect, it was not too crowded. We got to ride a lot of rides and had lots of laughing!

The step sisters were arguing over who would get married first. They were very funny. 










We had dinner/lunch at skippers canteena. It was yummy and the reataurant was very cute!

The “jingle cruise” is even more fun at Christmas time!



The castle looked so beautiful at night! The fireworks were amazing. The parade was very cute. We loved it all and got home very late.

Sunday

Went to church, hung out, decorated gingerbread houses, made and ate too many cookies, played some games.
