We have lived in MD for three years now. Just recently we found another little hidden treasure, the Colonial Farm. We went there for youth conference and it was so nice. I really wanted to take the family there. Yesterday Janene (Colleen's sister) and I took the kids there. It was pretty fun!
We went down by the beach that looks over the Potomac at Mount Vernon. The kids found tons of shells.
We explored the village and saw the sites.
After the farm we came home and swam, I had a nice visit with Janene, it was fun to get to know her better.
In the evening we had a girl's night. We went to Cafe Rio! It was really fun. Nice day.
Cafe Rio! Dang! I'm jealous!
