It’s the most wonderful time of the year!

College football season! At least that’s what’s kept Rob busy most of the day. He did mow the lawn and pack for our trip and smoke dinner.
Going to Disney season! Grace and I wanted to ride the avatar ride. We had a grand plan. We would go there before the park opens, wait for the rope drop and “sprint” to the head of the line.
What we didn’t know was that the resorts have a magic hour so we got there early, and joined the 400 people already in line.
3 hrs later we rode the coolest ride.

The line was awesome and we had our phones so we chatted, played games, talked to people around us, read, and looked around.
We both thought the line went quickly and we both thought the wait was worth it.
We literally only went to the park for that one ride so after that we headed home. I had grocery shopping and Saturday cleaning to do.

Grace went to Ashton’s house and they scootered around for the afternoon. Here’s the only picture I could get.

It was a good day!

And the real reason for the season is the countdown to Christmas. Not the gifts and glitz part but the being with family AND really the celebrating of the birth of Christ. It’s a special time of year.
