Rule one: don’t forget to breathe

Miss Ruby with her momma and daddy! Look at that sweet yawn.

Ruby wrapped up tight and Cora more casual.

Still under the lights. Cora always flings her little legs up like she’s on a pool floatie:)

Look st those cute little feet!! Ruby-girl

Peaceful Cora.

Today was eventful. The girls got their IV’s off! They both gained weight! Jenna got discharged and is now in a “bonding room”.

Life with preemies is a roller coaster. We had some great news and great feeds and they are so cute and sweet.

Then there’s the hard parts. The new parents, while they do not complain, are exhausted.
Both girls stopped breathing today. We are told that is normal and to be expected but it’s still alarming.

Still we are blessed.

  1. Oh man! What a journey! Scary and exciting for you all! I remember when Ellie stopped breathing in the hospital and all her alarms started going off. A bunch of people came in. It was definitely scary!! But they were also like, it’s common... ha! I was wondering how they could so casually say that like it’s no big deal... ;)
