Encampment

Once a year we have a Girl Scout council encampment. This year's theme was treasure island and it was super fun.

It was a day that passed quickly in a haze of sunscreen, bug spray, red kool-ade, loud songs and chants, treasure hunts and burnt fire cooked foods.

The girls loved it.

When I got home our friends Rob and Tori from Texas had arrived for a much anticipated visit. It is so great to have them here and to have a little time together. We went out to dinner: fresh crab cakes and crab soup (on the water.) Yumm.

When we got home we saw just how much Grace enjoyed her day!
