Today was Nauvoo day. It was super hot. 109 with the heat index and we sweated.
Other than that everyone enjoyed the day. We went on a carriage ride. Saw a video, played games, walked through the town, took an afternoon break of swimming at the hotel, and watched the pageant. It was a lot of fun. The fair before the pageant might be the favorite part! We enjoyed bagpipers and dancing and contests.
Our friends Rick and Robin from TX were there with their grandkids (small world) so we sat with them at the pageant. We didn’t have much time to visit but it was awesome to give them a hug and say hi!
Loved the day! Even if it was too hot!
