Saturday post 1

Ms Christine
Grace's choir had their competition this weekend too.  We drove down to Valencia in the morning.  They did great.  I really enjoyed last years competition and was looking forward to listening again.  It did not disappoint.  I loved listening to the different groups and they were all so good!  It's really fun.

After they went to Six Flags.  We didn't go because we had other things to do and two days in a row at Magic Mountain is a little much.

Mia is a ballerina.  The spring production this year was Peter Pan and she was cast as Tinkerbelle.  We got a group from the ward to go.  It was so fun and so good.  There was flying and dancing and beautiful music.  The sets were awesome and the costumes beautiful  In every way we all enjoyed it and it exceeded our expectations!! It was a super fun night.

Mia stole the show, she was amazing. Noelle, Mia's mom, wasn't able to come.  She's been in the hospital getting chemo and doing her stem cell transplant.  She was bummed, this was the first ballet Mia has danced in since she was 3 that Noelle wasn't able to go to.  I am glad we could get so many people to go support and enjoy in her stead.  I think we had 15 people or so from the ward there.

We have a lot of friends who are going thru serious health issues, and series other issues.  Life is a tough experience and no one is spared the trails of mortality.  Sometimes it's hard to know how to help.  Sometimes the help needed isn't fun or easy to give.  Last night was a delight.  It was both fun and easy and hopefully Mia felt our love and support.

After we went to Sweet Frog for a post ballet treat.  We got home late and were happy.
