San Juan

Today our stop was in San Juan.  We didn't dock until after 4pm so it was basically a day at sea.  I think Grace is enjoying the cruise the most of all.  It's awesome if you are a 10 year old! She has made some friends on board and the girls met up for fun activities quiet often.  This morning she went to kids club and had a lot of fun.  When we got her out we went to the pool where her friends also were and they swam and ran around the H20 zone together until it was time to get off the ship.  Every day has been like that for her.  Swimming, kids club, slumber parties with mom and dad, all you can eat ice cream and new fun experiences.

Ethan played soccer and hung out at the pool.  He's having a good time as well but she is definitely more into it.

Hannah and Sierra spent the day with me and Nana.  We made a special effort since yesterday it was hard to find each other and it ended up being kind of crazy. Today we met for breakfast, went to the pool, went on shore together and then had dinner together.  Hannah says it feels a little claustrophobic on board all the time and that she's having fun but it's not like she thought it would be.  Sierra hasn't complained but has spent a lot of time in her room and I hope they are having fun but I think it's not as awesomely amazing as they had anticipated.

For excursions today Abba and Dad took Ethan and Grace snorkeling.  Grace reports that it was great! She loved it and can't wait to go again tomorrow.  Ethan also liked it.

Nana, S, H and I got off the ship without a concrete plan.  We ended up going on a city tour with a bus that was at the dock.  It was $10 each and it was a $10 tour. We saw some colorful fun streets and buildings, some monuments, the beach, a fort, a graveyard, lots of homeless folks and a lot of runners.  Our guide was informative and we enjoyed it but I have to say San Juan is my least favorite Caribbean stop that I've done.  We walked through some shops on the way back to the ship.  It was not awful at all.  How bad can a cruise day be??  But it wasn't amazing either.

I am really looking forward to St Maarten and St Kitts. It's really fun to be here with everyone and I love sitting and reading on the deck, seeing the ocean and sharing this special time with the family.
