Busy week. The holiday season always seems particularly busy. X continues with his nightly exploits. The other day he was found checking the sky for reindeer signs.
Of course the best part of any day for the kids is after school. We have the great fortune of living in a neighborhood where there are tons of kids. Keean came over after school a couple of days this week and they had a rousing tournament of mousetrap going. Lu went to his house and made darling wire star ornaments. E rides his bike around and plays soccer. H is banished to her tower prison until I can see the carpet under her feet. Apparently she would rather lay around and stare at the ceiling than clean up her room. (shakes head sadly)
I've subbed. Cleaned. Went up to Bowie Wed night for a very nice YWIE and hosted the dessert portion of our RS Christmas progressive dinner. It was very nice and we had a great number of women come so that was a real treat. Z got to wear her Christmas outfit in honor of the evening:) We've also been watching Christmas movies and listening to Christmas music.
