Cleaveland

We flew to Cleveland today and met all the family at Lake Erie. It was hot:) They had a fun time. We got there just at the tail end.
Cute Cora in her swimming suit!

Penny and I gave the girls baths when we got home. Then we went to Swensens for dinner and a drive in movie!

We saw Incredibles 2, which was so cute!

The screen behind us was playing Jurassic World so Marshall spent some time peaking that way to see the dinosaurs:)

It was a fun day.

Beaching

Today was our last day in Orlando, for now. We decided to go to the beach. It was wonderful. The water was refreshing but not freezing. The sand was white and soft. We played in the water, watched the pelicans dive for fish and saw dolphins!

Meanwhile we wait for the house to sell and try to be nice to each other through the stress of it.

I can’t wait to make the move.

Also can’t wait for tomorrow and to be with the kids and grands!

Downton Disney (that’s what H & I call it)

We looked at more houses today and agonized over when ours would sell. We’ve got a list of 5 that we’d be willing to buy as soon as ours gets an offer. So we wait.

After we were done looking we decided to go to Disney Springs to take our minds off the house selling/buying ordeal.

It was a good choice. It was really fun and a great distraction! First off it’s huge! We were there for about 5 hrs and didn’t see or do but a fraction of what’s available.

We did eat a yummy, romantic dinner by the water. We could see the fireworks going off and there was live music. We looked at shops and walked around. It was lots of fun!

Houses

We’ve been seeing lots of houses.
Many that we could happily live in. Now we just wait for our house to sell so we can make an offer. That’s the worst part.

Let me just say it is beautiful here!

So Sawyer is on the mend. Hopefully he’ll have no further problems. Poor guy!
The kids are on the road with Dani and Greg. Can’t wait to see them all on Saturday!

We had dinner with Jess and Isaiah tonight. That was fun and little Makayla is so sweet and cuddly!

Oh Florida, you’re a charmer

Day one of house hunting went well. We saw some nice ones. One made it onto the “considering” list.

Everywhere you look there are ponds and lakes, it’s green and lush. There is lots of wildlife and it’s very pretty.

Look at this cute Target ball! Love the mouse ears!

After we looked at houses we were on our own. Our first stop was the beautiful Orlando Temple. It is closed right now for maintenance but we enjoyed walking around the outside. I’m excited to go back when we move here.

We also spent some time in Winter Gardens. It’s a cute little town with lots of shops and restaurants.

We found this awesome doggy bakery/spa. Ziva will love it!

It’s oh so quaint and southern. Everyone we’ve met has been friendly.

Before dinner we walked at a little park/lake/playground near WG. We saw two alligators and lots and lots of birds.

It’s been a good day!

Sweet 16

Today is Ethan’s birthday. It was a weird one for him I am sure. Rob and I flew to Orlando and he and Grace and driving to Ohio with Dani and Greg in a couple days. This morning I went to cowboy donuts and bought Birthday donuts. At 8am someone in the bishopric came down to the house and Papa and Grandma came over and Ethan was ordained a priest. Sawyer and Spencer both planned to
come but ended up missing it when we started a bit early so that the men with jobs could leave.
Other than that it was super nice. I’m so proud of him.

Today is also Mom’s birthday:)

Our flights were fine. We landed and went to Jessica and Isaiah’s to meet the new little one:) She’s adorable.

Back to the birthday, Hannah and Sawyer and Ethan were on the way to the movies when Sawyer had chest pain and couldn’t breathe well. They diverted and went to the ER. He’s staying overnight. He has an air bubble in his
lung, that doesn’t belong there. Hopefully he’ll be able to go home tomorrow. Ethan stayed at the hospital with them for a few hours until Dani was able to get him.

Spanish Fork

We started our 45 days of travel (Ethan’s naming and exaggerating).

We drove to Dani’s. The trip went very smoothly.
Bub and I took a picture at our favorite rest stop.

Hannah and Sawyer had come down for the weekend so we got to see them too!

We spent some time catching up! Then played partner charades.

Tatum and I baked. It was a very organic experience.

First she climbed the tree to pick the cherries.

Then we made filling with them and rolled them into crescent rolls.

They were delicious!

Later Val and Ryan came over for a quick hi!

I have loved living “so close” to them.

Peace in Christ

Our camp song was called “Peace in Christ”. We had the opportunity to sing it several times each day and each time is was powerful! I love the lyrics.

Camp was awesome, as always. I didn’t take many picture this year though. Too busy having fun I guess.

I did get one of all the girls in our ward.

And one of them with the bishop playing a clapping game!

And one of Grace and Makayla and Charlotte when they went to bear their testimonies.

Grace 🐙❤️❤️ the whole week. She said she had the best time and wishes she could go back again next week.

The whole group:)

Camp

Today I got to come swap places with Rhianna. I enjoy coming to camp and I was happy to find everyone happy and having fun.
Mara had ward time today and she brought up her sewing machine. The girls made pillow cases.

It is so beautiful up here.

When I got here the girls were working on their pillow cases so I helped them.
Then we went to golden hour. We sang our camp song and I felt the spirit rush over me in that beautiful, familiar, wonderful way. I am grateful.

Tonight we had skits and songs and a movie night. My girls had written in a part in their skit for me so I got to jump right in and do it.

Me and Kelly before we went on stage. She’s our only laurel now that Rylie graduates. Our ward is shrinking. Our whole stake is actually.

We dropped the price on our house and are getting some lookers now! Yay!
