Choices

Bubster got a nice invitation from Harvard to apply to their school. It was actually pretty cleverly written. He gets a lot of college mail, which I usually just throw out but this one I handed to him. He could probably get in anywhere with his perfect grades and stellar test scores.

This evening Rob and I went with him to the movies. Grace didn’t come, she hates going to the movies and actually doesn’t like to watch movies at home very much either. We saw MIB and liked it. Anyway we were talking about his letter and where he might want to go to school. All along I have thought he’d go to BYU. He actually isn’t sure though and talked about a couple different options. He is also considering the Air Force academy. Well more accurately he was thinking about it but has pretty much decided not to apply. However he hasn’t ruled out ever applying, or ever joining.  All these choices are scary. I can’t imagine him out in the world, in harms way, living life as an adult. It was too fast!
He will be a good man, whatever he chooses. He is a good son and a good friend and smart and kind.
