The icky parts

We've been trying to pack in as much fun as possible. I think we've been doing a great job at that. 

There's also the other side of moving. The cleaning out the freezer, taking stuff to the dump, taking stuff to the thrift store, closing out accounts, picking up school papers, cleaning out closet, scrubbing cupboards, watching movers move (which doesn't sound so bad it really is pretty torturous), giving away food and cleaning supplies, checking in cars, making travel arrangements, wishing the house would sell, dusting baseboards, scrubbing corners, writing checks, emptying the generator, taking out the trash, listening to the children cry

Not so fun.
