Beach day!

August at the beach is just about perfect. The pacific is still kind of cool but it was sunny and mostly refreshing.

We had a good day. We built an awesome sand castle, spearheaded by Dani.

We built a slide out of boogie boards that the little kids enjoyed a lot!

We swam and a lot of people boogie boarded including Tatum, who did great!

Hannah read her book. Still working on summer reading.

Holly, Grace and dad saw a leopard shark swimming around. 

I only saw little fish.

We went to the spot for shakes and headed home around 5. 

A California perk for sure.
