I've been subbing 8th grade science this week. It's been pretty fun. Today is also May the 4th day. Which is the pinnacle of the nerd holidays. Pi day being a close second. We had a party.

Rob loves his smoker. He made a smoked pork loin and was really delicious! We also had hutt dogs and fruit kabobs and chips and salsa and a veggie platter and other delicious food.

We sat around the the table in the backyard and visited and ate. The kids swam, some of the dads also had to swim.

After everyone else left the Evans stayed and we talked until late. They are in the middle of moving and I will miss them.

Let's see, who was here? The Jarvis': Tim, Laura, Collin, Makayla and Katelyn. Lisa Thompson Beudreaux and Noah and Finnley and Noah's girlfriend. Shawn had to work. Brian and Brittany Pincock with little David. Marc and Rachel, Travis and Grace Evans. It was a nice sized group.
