Grace and her proud dad |
We woke up and made waffles, then did a quick cleaning time (well short of an hour) and got ready.
The first thing on our agenda was Finley's baptism. It was super nice. Noah was able to baptize him and I just thought it was very special. Lisa gave a great talk on baptism. The Boudreau's are good friends to us so I was very happy we could be there. Rob and I had to leave before the closing prayer and hymn so Brittany brought the kids back home for us.
Rob and I were asked to usher at the creche festival. We had a 3 hour shift. It was a little longish but I enjoyed hearing the musical performances. Some of them were really great. All the nativities were beautiful. It wasn't really busy in the morning but we were happy to be there. We actually had some time to visit with the sister missionaries that were there and that was a very special moment for me. I really felt the spirit while we were visiting. They were both converts. One sister got baptized after being introduced to the gospel by a friend. She was a member a year when she went out on her mission . She had the sweetest testimony. The other one had parents who joined the church but then became inactive. She and her sister started going together when they were in young women and then got baptized. One girl in particular really friendshipped her. She was the beehive president when the sister got baptized and became her good friend. Interestingly both girls put mission papers in at the same time and got called to the same mission so they still see each other. Isn't that so fun?!

she loves when I take pictures of her |
After our shift we went to the mall where it was a ZOO. I wanted to get some 3 wick candles from bath and body works because they were on the one day a year $8 sale. There must have been 150 people in that store. Rob got right in line and I squeezed my way around the store trying to smell candles. It was crazy.
We went home and had about an hour before we had to go back to the creche festival. The Antelope Valley Children's Choir, of which Grace is a part, performed. They did a lovely job.
Then we went to the Chipotle choir fund raising dinner. Followed by literally a run thru Costco. We only had 15 minutes before closing!

still loving it |
Finally the boys went to Smart and Final because we were out of butter, forgot it at Costco, and they want buckeyes to celebrate Ohio State's imminent win against Wisconsin. Hopefully it doesn't jinx them!

After I make the buckeyes I need to prepare our YW lesson for tomorrow and then bedtime!
