Devils Chair survivors

Lately an off Friday means a hike. We've been wanting to try the Devils Chair. It's 7 + miles round trip and on the strenuous side, at least for us.

We got the kids off to school and headed out. It was a nice day and a nice hike.

The views were gorgeous and we beat the rain getting back, which was our hope.

We ran into some heavy winds that scared Z.

All 3 of us peed in the bushes. TMI but what are you going to do? 

We made it home just in time to pick up the children. And we are sore! Hips, knees, ankles! Ouch. A little Advil is in order, and a shower:) 

We climbed 1855 ft, 7.5 miles in 3 hours 8 minutes! I'm proud of us!

We made it!! I'd go again:) ...anyone??
