With our season passes we decided to try out the California Adventure park for the holiday Monday. (labor day). We got there early, around 8:30am, and were ready for some fun. We were pleasantly surprised. It was a ton of fun. It wasn't too crowded or too hot until around noon. That gave us several very pleasant hours to play.
My favorite ride was Soarin. We actually went on it twice we liked it so much. Ethan hated the whole day. He hates to leave the house generally, hates ride specifically, and Disney is on the top of his "do no like" list.
This raft ride was also really fun.
We looked at things, toured the bakery, ate delicious clam chowder in a sourdough bread bowls, and enjoyed each other's company. Around noon it started to get hot and crowded. We stuck it out for another 2.5 hours but eventually decided to come back another time and made it home in time to swim and to watch the Ohio State football game.
That is a successfully observed labor day!!
