Monday

Today we went back to the school district office. We got there first thing in the morning and got in line. Sometime later a woman came out and handed out numbers, we were number 63. All numbers over 50 were eventually told to come back at 12:30. We got back at 12 and joined another crowd of people waiting. Fortunately they did call  everyone in by number and we were done by 2:30. All the numbers over 80 have to come back again tomorrow. Fortunately for me my kids are big enough to stand in line for hours without temper tantrums.I was somewhat unique in this blessing. I am glad we are now registered for school, but I can't help but think that there might be a more efficient way to handle the registration process. In other states we have lived in you register for school at the school you're going to attend. This really makes for much smaller crowds than if everyone in the district goes to the district office. Just a thought.  I can't wait until it's time to register our cars at the DMV:)

Between our first time in line and our second time in line we went to Staples to buy some supplies, we went to Michael's to buy some projects, and we met dad for lunch.

When we got back we spent some time on our projects. When dad got home from work we went out to dinner and then we went to the movies for FHE. We saw Mr. Holmes which we all enjoyed except for Ethan who wished that we had seen Mission Impossible.
