Field trips

Grace had a busy day. At school she had a field trip to the Kennedy Center to hear a little Mozart. She said it was awesome!

As soon as she got home we met the Girl Scouts and went on a other field trip. We were supposed to have a sleep over at Gatsby Tavern in Alexandria, Va. Sadly with the bad weather this winter they had pipes break and water damage so the sleep over part was cancelled. The rest of the trip was still on. It means we'll be home at midnight but that's okay.

First we stopped for pizza at Bugsby's. Yummy and fun.

Then we began our night. We worked on a journey, built things, learned about the restoration of the tavern and learned how to do some English Country dancing.
